Over het Gilde in Groningen en landelijk

Het Spellenmaakgilde is een initiatief om de krachten van spellenmakers en testers in Nederland te bundelen. Het startte met deze website en testlocatie Groningen, maar we zijn inmiddels landelijk en je kan hier naar de landelijke website! We organiseren inmiddels speltestavonden op meerdere plekken en communiceren die met name via onze meetup pagina. Naast nuttig, zijn de avonden ook leuk. De sfeer is informeel, gezellig en relax.

We hebben een landelijke ‘Discord’ groep waarin spellenmakers met elkaar overleggen en tips delen. Je bent van harte welkom om erbij te komen, dat kan via deze link. Op de hoogte blijven? Klik hier om je aan te melden voor onze nieuwsbrief!

Per 2023 zijn we ook een formele landelijke groep van de internationale spelauteursvereniging SAZ. Dit ondersteunt de SAZ in hun lobby voor culturele erkenning van spellen en de rechten van auteurs. En genereert wat budget voor onze activiteiten in Nederland.

About the Guild in Groningen and the Netherlands

The Dutch Game Design Guild (spellenmaakgilde) is an initiative to bundle the forces of game designers and testers that started in the north of the Netherlands. We are national now and you can find our new website here. We organise tabletop game testing events at multiple locations and you can find most on our Meetup page. Besides productive, the playtesting events are also fun and social. Gamers and designers experience these nights as informal, relax AND productive.

As of 2023 we have become a formal Dutch chapter of the international game author association SAZ. This supports the SAZ in their lobby for cultural recognition of games and for author rights. And it generates some budget for our activities in the Netherlands.
